Three level structure
ESSEDI creates their software according to a client-server model in three levels. The three levels are represented by the user interface, the application server and the database. Each of these three levels (Client Server, Application Server and Database Server) will be installed on different machines, to allow concrete advantages such as easy maintenance, optimizing workloads and increased scalability. Only in extreme cases all three levels will be installed on the same machine.
