RFID Technology (Radio Frequency Identification), also known as TRANSPONDERS or TAGS, are memory chips equipped with a radio apparatus.
The TAG can be interrogated from on external apparatus by establishing a dialog by way of radio and then return the identification code and any information.
The difference between BAR-CODE and TAGS is the possibility of the Transponder to locate and read them without having to point the Reader, in any position they may be in and through any non-metallic material: this means you can know the contents of a box without opening it with only a single reading.
The read/write memory on the TAGS permit you to dynamically store on the label information regarding the product and all the production phases, storage and sales, allowing you to retrieve this information without connecting to a centralized database.
Data stored in the memory is absolutely stable and not modifiable by external agents (dirt, humidity, usages, magnetic or electromagnetic fields, etc.) guaranteeing a perfect reading, repeatedly in time.
The TRANSPONDER has many different sizes and forms, depending on the need.
