ESSEDI TECNOLOGY

ESSEDI was established in 1984 by a group of technical-minded people who came from large IT companies such as IBM, HP, and DIGITAL with the objective of offering a software package for different industries.

ESSEDI began working with the first IBM systems 38, AS/400 and collaborated in the analysis of the IBM San Francisco framework. ESSEDI has moved towards OBJECT oriented programming (Java, .NET, Delphi), transforming all its applications using this technology. This transformation required a vast amount of effort, but today ESSEDI has a large knowledge of object programming, and above all, ad-hoc development.

ESSEDI has its HEADQUARTERS in Vicenza (Italy) and different branch offices around the world. The organization has a development center in charge of testing new technology and implementing software installations at the customer’s premises.

ESSEDI’s vast experience places them as a principal player in the development of INTEGRATED projects, having a large knowledge in databases, object oriented programming, mobile applications, connecting production machinery via PLC or hardware cards, bar codes and RFID solutions.

Today the most critical aspects in a company are:

• handling of continuous streams of materials, coming from heterogeneous suppliers, customers, and subcontractors
• tracking of work in progress (shop floor control) at workshops, factory, and/or work done in the past
• tracking time and resources to manage payment of personnel
• scheduling work in progress

ESSEDI’s software begins with product design (CAD/CAM or Data Sheet integration), or in chemical laboratory (prototypes). Schedule production workloads with the MRP Planning/Scheduling module (to optimize times and costs), capture data through connections to machinery and Bar Code terminals or RFID, product tracking, shipment planning, shipments and delivery, costs, CRM, Business Intelligence, Machinery Maintenance, etc.

With a single click you can have all the information regarding an individual item, it’s location in production (internal or external), costs incurred at the moment, operator or work group that has worked on the item with relative information regarding times, machinery configuration and calibration settings, and just about any choice of information (current and historical).

ESSEDI’s software gives you the option to work on your own in combination (integrated) to other software applications.
